Rules

Background
This pool is based on the CBS series Survivor 11: Guatemala (Central America). The most complaints last time, centered around the complication of the pool, and having to make weekly picks. As well, there was concern about use of the speculation sites, so this time, I'll try something new and run it more like a hockey pool.

Initial Submission (what I need from you)

· Picks must be in by midnight Wednesday, September 14, 2005. I need you to pick your "Team of 4"

· Your "Team of 4" will consist of 4 people you feel will perform the strongest and possibly go all the way.

· You can choose any players you want for your team

· No one can have the same set of 4 people, if someone submits their team of 4, and it is the same as someone who has already entered, I will let them know and they will have to resubmit before the deadline. This is a very good reason to have your picks in early!

· Entry is $5, payable to myself, please have payment by the time the first episode starts. I do not know all of you, so I can give a bit of grace time here. If you don't know me, and are referred to by a friend, try to get it to me ASAP, and I'll let you ride the first little bit.

Points, Score, how to win

This is a points based game. You will earn points by how well your "Team of 4" performs. If someone on your team wins Reward, you get points, if someone on your team wins Immunity, you get points. If someone on your team goes all the way and wins, you get more points. If your "Team of 4" moves on every week, you get points, simple eh?

At the beginning of the series, the players are divided out into two tribes. Every week that your players move on you will earn 1 point per player (max 4pts)/week

After the Tribes are merged, it will go into individual mode and points will be based on Reward and Immunity. Everytime one of your players earns Reward or Immunity, you will earn 5 points. As well, with your players moving on, you will earn 1 point per player, for a maximum of 14 points/week

If one of the four people you choose wins the Ultimate Survivor, then you will get a bonus 5 points.

Be careful of who you pick, even if you pick the Ultimate Survivor, they may be your typical underdog who never won anything along the way and there is many points to be had with reward and immunity.

To recap:

1 point per player moving on each week

5 points per player winning Immunity/Reward

5 points for having the player who wins Survivor

2nd place - 25%
3rd place - 15%
